The
Cleveland Tractor Company introduced their model "HG" crawler
in 1939. The Oliver Corporation purchased the Cleveland Tractor Company
in 1944, and continued manufacturing the "HG" crawler until
1951. The "HG" was offered in two basic styles: The HG-42
used a 42" tread width; the HG-68 used a 68" tread width.
Ertl's 1/16th replica of the Oliver "HG-68" crawler features
segmented, rolling tracks, detailed pto and belt pulley, headlights
and a collector insert.
